Where in CloudTMS: /app, /settings/import, /dispatch
Get the App
- On the Android phone, open Google Play, search for CloudTMS Driver, and install it. The CloudTMS driver app page lists both stores. (page: /app)
- Sign in with the email and temporary password from the driver welcome email, then set a new password if asked.
Driver Logins Work the Same as on iPhone
Android and iPhone drivers use the same CloudTMS login, and it has to be linked to the driver’s profile, or the app signs in but can’t show any loads (“No driver profile linked to this account”).
Today the in-app way to create a linked driver login is the driver CSV import: Settings, Data Import, the Drivers card. The iPhone article walks through it step by step. If a driver is stuck on that message, email support@cloudtms.io.
- Go to Settings and open Data Import, click the Drivers card, fill in the template with one row per driver (each needs an email), upload it and click Import N Records. (page: /settings/import)
What Drivers Can Do in the App
The Android app talks to the same CloudTMS server as the iPhone app, so drivers get the same features: their assigned loads, one-step status updates that show on the dispatch board right away, photos or uploads of BOLs, PODs and other load paperwork, pre-trip and post-trip DVIRs, receipts for the office to review, a message thread per load, and the permit book with expiry warnings.
Push notifications on Android arrive the same way: a new office message on one of the driver’s loads, and CDL or medical card expiry alerts. Signing out removes the phone so the next person on that device doesn’t get the alerts.
Location is sent only with a status update, and moves the driver’s pin on the dispatch map; there is no continuous tracking.
Sign-In Problems
“Invalid credentials” means the email or password is wrong, or the login is inactive. Use Forgot your password? on the CloudTMS web sign-in page, then sign in to the app with the new password.
“Your company’s CloudTMS account is paused” means the company’s subscription is cancelled or suspended. Ask your administrator to update billing.
A sign-in stays valid for 30 days before the driver has to sign in again.
