Sign up, run the FMCSA lookup, add your first driver, truck, and load.
Sign Up and the 30-Day Free Trial
New CloudTMS accounts include a 30-day free trial of the plan tier you sign up under. No credit card is required to start — you choose a plan and add a payment method only when you're ready to convert. Day 20 and day 27 reminder emails go out automatically; on day 30 the account locks but your data is preserved for 30 more days so you can resume.
Verify Your DOT and Auto-Fill From FMCSA
On the signup form (and inside the in-app onboarding wizard), enter your USDOT number and click Verify. CloudTMS calls FMCSA's public Carrier Snapshot API and pre-fills your legal name, address, phone, and fleet size. You can edit anything before saving.
Invite Your Dispatcher and Accountant
Settings → Users → Invite. Each role has its own permission set: dispatcher sees the dispatch board and loads, accountant sees billing and settlements. The invite email contains a secure password-set link and the team member lands directly in the right module on first sign-in.
Import Your Customers From a CSV
Customers → Import CSV. We accept the export format from most legacy TMS platforms out of the box; for anything else, the column mapper auto-detects the standard names (name, MC, address, contact, terms) and lets you remap before saving. Duplicates by MC number are flagged for review rather than silently merged.
